Jul-02-05		offramp: For those of us that like the ...gxf6 Caro-Kann, Seirawan is a good man to follow. Short plays the dreaded c3, g3, Bg2 set-up, but he plays like an old tart and Seirawan beats him easily. Only a rapid game, though.

May-06-13		Everett: Seirawan's plan for exchanging Qs via the abandoned light squares in the middle is interesting. Seirawan creates a more active K, and Short lets his K-side get munched. With the rapid time controls, it is possible that Short did not see that Black's 41st was possible.
