Nov-08-04  Marco65: "The Slav" by Burgess recommends 7...Nd7 8.Ng4 Kf7! but I couldn't find any game here with that.

Sneaky: Yes I've read that myself. In fact I believe that this whole 7.Qa4+ line was supposed to be the bust to the Winawer countergambit (this game notwithstanding) until the ...Kf7!! discovery was made. If chessgames.com is without games of that variation maybe I can locate some and submit them.
Nov-08-04  Marco65: <Sneaky> Are you interested in the Slav as well? I like this Winaver countergambit - which is not a real gambit, btw - unfortunately most people play 3.Nf3 that is less fun in my opinion
Mar-05-07  Manic: <Sneaky> there is only one 8...Kf7! game in the database : D Borensztajn vs W Geissler, 2000.
Mar-10-13  whiteshark: Here's a more recent game after <7...Ke7>

Oct-01-16  RookFile: White hastened to trade queens. As a first impression, I thought this was strange.

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
--John Lennon, 'Imagine'

And here Simagin* puts the same question to Baranov, while trying to get rid of his last piece with 93. Rxb4. ;)

* no, Simagin is not actually pronounced like 'imagine' - check out his audio if you want to know how to pronounce it: http://www.chessgames.com/audio/165... :p
