  Ulhumbrus: After 23 Bd3 it is not obvious that Black's R on c8 is needed to defend the N on c7, in order to make it possible to defend, of all things, Black's King. The reason is that Black's Queen needs to be able to to to g4. In that case she must not be left with the task of the defence of the N on d7. The reason for that in turn is that on 24 Rc2 Kh7 25 h4! threatens both h5 and Nxh5 in reply to ...h5. Black has no answer to that threat, because he can't play ...Qg4 as the Queen has to defend the N. Thus by abandoning the defence of the N on c7 the Black Rook makes the Black Queen overworked: she can't both cover the N and defend the King side as well.
