Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-10-04  ughaibu: Drukenknight: Try this one. Stein either miscalculates and loses a piece or it was a defensive(?) sacrifice, in any case there follows as incomprehensible an ending as I can stand at this time of night.
Mar-10-04  drukenknight: I have headache from that Alek/Richter game, but isnt 56 Rb2 better?
Mar-10-04  ughaibu: To tell you the truth it's already three hours past "this time of night" and as I recall at my last look I thought virtually every move in this endgame was weird and betterable so I'm going to bed and maybe I'll have the strength for it tomorrow.
Mar-10-13  Marmot PFL: Larsen had a reputation for sometimes playing questionable openings but here it is Stein taking the risks.
Sep-07-15  Howard: Questionable piece sacrifice by Stein.
Oct-07-16  ewan14: Questionable opening play
Oct-07-18  Inocencio: Larsen is unorthodox player. He wanted to surprise his opponent on less analysed position. If you play carelessly in the opening, you will likely pay the price of your own misgivings.
