Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-12-04  Resignation Trap: I would reclassify the ECO code in this game as B21. Larsen seemed to take his opponent too lightly. 10. e5? surrenders too many squares to Suttles' pieces. 21. Bxf5?? simply loses a piece and the game to 21...e5!
Mar-12-04  drukenknight: wow not a good game by Larsen, did Larsen qualify despite this setback?
Mar-12-04  Resignation Trap: Yes, Larsen finished first, with help from Fischer's withdrawing from this tournament.
Mar-19-04  rochade18: 2.f4 is already a move which looks weird. f4 is good when captured in the next move in the king's gambit. That is only my opinion, I know that f4 can be strong in such openigs if you know the treatment.
May-10-06  Maynard5: As with several other games by Suttles, this one features the powerful defensive deployment h5, followed by Nh6, effectively constraining White's attacking options on the kingside.
