Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-04-14  ughaibu: Why not 34...Nb3?
Jun-04-14  Howard: Doesn't that lose a piece ? Please be a bit more specific as to why you feel Black can play that move.
Jun-04-14  ughaibu: It's protected twice and attacked twice, so on the face of it, no, it doesn't lose a piece. Or if it does, it isn't obvious how. So, I don't know what you want me to specify.
Jun-04-14  Howard: Oops ! You're correct ! I'd overlooked that the rook on b6 also is hitting at the pawn.

Let me look at it a bit further. Sorry about the goof on my part.

Nov-15-15  zydeco: Yeah. Everything seems to be going black's way. It's amazing how quickly his game falls apart. 34....Kg7 is an important precaution against white's kingside counterplay. I can't imagine why Szabo didn't play 35...Nxb3.
