Kibitzer's Corner
May-17-05  chess man: Nice game displayed by "The Wizard From Riga."
May-17-05  hintza: More commonly "The Magician..." rather than wizard.
May-17-05  chess man: I've heard it both ways. When I read about Tal I come across 'Wizard' more.
Jul-10-07  wouldpusher: 35. ... g5! wins a piece by force. If 37. Rhxe3 Rxe3 38. Rxe3 gxf4. Perhaps White overlooked the discovery and did not realize that he'd be two pieces down instead of one.

(Recommended as a Wednesday/Thursday puzzle!)

Dec-30-08  Travis Bickle: What a magnificent ending!! Tal was the most creative mind in chess!
