Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-12-09  battleaxe: If 26. Rx7 then white has 27. Rxe8 Rf8

28. Rfxf8 Nxf8 29. Rxf8#

If black decides to not capture the knight then he must move his queen. Unfortunately his queen has no square so it must instead capture white's queen. Then white will recapture with his knight with check to be two pawns up. Black resigns.

Apr-20-17  RKnight: <Battleaxe> White will be three pawns up: 25...Qxh6, 26 Nxh6+ Kg7, 27 Rxf7+ Kxf8, 28 Bxg6 ... Note that 27 Re7+ might be even stronger.
