Whites best after 20.--,dxe5 is perhaps 21.f3 with a complicated position. |

 | | plang: 9 Nd2 is the most popular move; 9 Qd3 seems a bit awkward. In order to justify 10 Ng5!? it would have been necessary to follow it up with 11 e4 (or perhaps even 11 Ne6!?). As it turned out it was just a loss of time.
17 a4 might be an improvement. Note that 26 exf..e3 27 Re1..exd 28 Rxe7..Bxc3 29 Qa4..Bg4 loses for White. Tal played well but Benko was unrecognizable in this game. |
