  Honza Cervenka: 34...Qd2! 35.Kg1 (35.Bf4 Qxc3 ) 35...Bc5+ 36.Bd4 Bxd4+ 37.cxd4 Rxd4 would have won the game more easily. 36.axb4 instead of 36.Bf6 could have prolonged the resistance of white, although I think that black would have won too, for example 36...Rh3+ 37.Kg1 Bc4 38.Rf2 Rxh4 39.Qf3 Qg5+ 40.Rg2 Rh1+! 41.Kxh1 (42.Kf2 Qd2+ ) 41...Qh4+ 42.Bh2 Qxe1+ 43.Rg1 Qe6 (treatening Bd5) 44.Rg5 (44.Rd1 Be2 ) 44...f5 45.Qg2 Kf7 or 45.Qf2 Bh6 with decisive attack of black whose Bishop pair is deadly.
May-02-09  newzild: Good game by Filip. There's a photo on his profile of him analysing a game with Tal - possibly this one.
Aug-27-09  whiteshark: <Filip Board>
Sep-24-10  Autoreparaturwerkbau: What was wrong with Tal in Curacao 1962? Everyone who had 5 minutes of time, beat him ... Petrosian even in 20 moves.

perfidious: <Auto> One of the recurrences of his kidney trouble-he withdrew with a score of 7/21. Despite this game and playing all 27, Filip made the same 7 points at Curacao. Tells you plenty about the difference in class between the solid professional Filip was and the truly great players who took part in this event.

Honza Cervenka: <solid professional Filip> Well, Filip never was chess professional, which makes his two participations in Candidate tournament quite impressive achievement.

Jonathan Sarfati: Filip's only win over Tal, compared to five losses, and a well deserved one at that.
Sep-01-20  StupidQuestion: Tal's record playing the Sicilian Kan as white is 16 wins, 6 draws, and 2 losses... this is one of those two losses, and a big one. White's kingside pawn push disintegrates with nothing to show for it and his king eventually has no where to hide.
