Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-03-05  laskerdog: 18.Qe2!! Tal has already ordered Banniks coffin
Jun-03-05  hartkoka: but what would Tal do if black play 18....[Q]xc3?
Jun-03-05  JohnBoy: Looks to me like after 18...Qxc3 white has 19.Nd2 winning a piece (either the attacked knight or the cornered bishop with 20.Nc4).
Jan-04-06  aw1988: Note not 28. Qxd6?? Rxf2+!
Jun-09-07  jokerman: these are the kind of moves i need to see quicker!

28) Qb8+ Kh7 29)Qb1+!... 30) Qxa2 amazing or 28) Qb8+ Ne8 29) Qxe8+ Kh7...

Jan-28-10  Ratul: Talk about trying a queen sac on the master of queen sacs!
Jan-02-11  64rutor: 18...Bxc3 [18...Qxc3 19.Bc1 Bxc1 20.Rxb8 g6 21.Rb3, Paata Gaprindashvili in his book "Imagination in Chess".]
Nov-07-12  Naniwazu: Bannik wasn't a weak player: five-time Ukranian champion and seven-time qualifier for the USSR championship. In this game though he plays too passively: 12...Nh5? (Tal gives Nd7, Bf6) leaves the Knight out of play on the rim.
