thegoodanarchist: According to Seirawan and Silman, Tal's opponent was "Forbis" and is referred to as "he" in the notes, indicating a male player.
Feb-19-07  ImmorTAL: Good Day.

When white Sacs Rook, (22. Qxd4), Why doesn’t Black resign???, this is Tal here!!.... Some say that when he does, it’s usually a killer move. Hehe Tal was the most feared of his time, and was ruthless, just look at that picture in his Profile!.. Ruthless with attitude!. Too bad he had poor health. He was GREAT!!

Mar-15-07  zev22407: How would white win if black plays 24)..h6 instead R(f)-e8 , I see just a draw 25)Qxh6 Qxd5 26)Q-g5+
Apr-01-07  siu02jm: I can't Find a draw either!

ahmadov: There is a lot for players of my level to learn from this game...
Jun-08-07  rookattack: doesnt 24.h6 win??
Jun-08-07  bakunian: <rookattack: doesnt 24.h6 win??> 24.h6 Qg4 protecting g7
24.Nd5 decoy sacrifice removing Queen from a1-h8 diagonal.
Jul-06-07  sanyas: If 25...Kf8 then 26.f6, while if 26...Rg8 then 27.Qf6+.

sallom89: is that the best mate i ever saw?!!? hell yea.
Nov-28-07  irasta: I have to agree. To find a sharper player than Mikhail would be a "Tal order".A precision destroyer.
Apr-12-08  stupidiot21: NN had no chance
May-22-08  addiction to chess: Absolutely brilliant!!

Eisenheim: why not 23 h6. although one still has to admire the beauty of Tal's mate here
May-01-09  WhiteRook48: yes, he's very TALented
Aug-28-09  joechuck: 22.Qh6 has a grievous flaw: 22...d5 23.f6 Rg8 24.Rxd5 Qe6 25.Re1 Rae8 26.Kb1 Bc6 27.Rdxe5 Qxe5 28.Rxe5 Rxe5 29.Qf4 Rxh5 30.Qc4 Be8.

sevenseaman: 24. Nd5? Is it a multitasking move, e.g. guard e3, pull the Black Q out of a defensive line, or later join in mate?

sevenseaman: Incredible! 24. Nd5 merely to lure the Black Q off the defensive line. If Qx d5 25. h6 and long live the widow.

  Sastre: If 24...Qxd5, 25.h6 would be a mistake because Black can play 25...Qxg2. <25.Qg5+ Kh8 26.h6 Rg8 27.Qf6+> would win for White.
Nov-07-10  jmactas: who would play the dragon against tal? what a terrible idea.

jepflast: Black missed a draw with 24...h6.
Oct-30-11  omnomnomnom: If 19...exf5 then 20.Rhf1 and black has to bend over backwards to avoid losing the pawn.

sevenseaman: < Sastre> Thats right of course. I wasn't paying to much attention to small detail. White has to take precaution that Black Q does not turn up on the 'g' file.
