Amusing, if, as PP suggests, a trifle forced. Mind you, some of these puns are obviously SUPPOSED to induce groans of disbelief...

Here, Timman cleverly manoeuvres his pieces & inflicts a winning blow by sacking his Rook where his adversary just succumbed to the series of threats. The pun, "If I Only Had A Heart", I think, Timman is playing a role of a "Robot" who doesn't have a Heart. |

At the very least, this wins a rook immediately. and at the same time prevents White from skewering the black rook. 28. ..Ne1+ 29. Rg2 Rxg2 now 30. Rxb7+ Qxb7 merely delays. In case of 30. Qxe1? there is ..Re2+! and mate next move. |
