Sneaky: Topalov has an interesting way to meet the opening of the day: "I care not for your silly gambit pawn. I will assume the super-solid position of the black side of the French Advance variation, except I have the white pieces, and an extra tempo."
Apr-25-05  jesterco12: Why not 10. Rxa6 bxa6 11. Nc7+ Kd8 12. Nxa8 ?

Sneaky: Maybe because the knight on a8 would be marked as a dead-man, so it would really just trade a rook and a knight for a rook and a knight.
Sep-05-06  Mateo: White's King was better placed than Black's one and his Queen side majority was more dangerous than Black's King side majority. Convincing win for the young Topalov in the Bishop ending.
