Sneaky: Hey ughaibu... here's that line from our correspondence game. Have you worked out an improvement over Ujtumen's play?

I'm a little bit confused as to what gets us into this line. Is Black here trying to play the Tarrasch in an unusual move order?

Apr-02-03   ughaibu: Sneaky: thanks for pointing out this game. White usually plays 7.Qc1 or 7.c5 I'll take a close look at this one, (I think I recently lost an internet game in this line).
Apr-03-03   ughaibu: In the game I was thinking of I played 10.....Nc6 but blundered away a piece a few moves later. Here's the beginning of a more interesting one 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 d5 4.Bg5 c5 5.cd5 Qb6 6.de6 cd4 7.ef7 Kf7 8.Na4 Bb4 9.Bd2 Qa5 10.Qb3 Nd5 11.Bb4 Qb4 12.Qb4 Nb4 13.Kd2 Bf5 14.Nf3 Nc6 15.Nc5 Rc8 16.Nb7 Ke7 17.h3 Rb8 18.g4 Bg6 19.Nc5 Nc2 20.Rc1 Rb2 21.Kd1 Ra2 but I lost this one as well.

refutor: you shouldn't play ...c5 once he has Bg5 in...that pin is really annoying...they recommend in Tarrasch books not to play ...Nf6 until White has played e3 or already moved his bishop
Apr-03-03   ughaibu: Refutor: It's one of those "unsound" lines that can be fun, a bit like the Latvian!?

refutor: now now that's just hitting below the belt ;)
