Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-21-05  lentil: It's an epaulette mate after 46. Qxd3 Qb2+ 47. Kf3 Qf2+ 48. Ke4 Qxf4#
Aug-26-14  zydeco: Uhlmann keeps changing his mind about where to put his pieces and gets punished for it: 17.Qc2 and 19.Qd2; 20.Nb1 and 22.Nc3.

22....f4! and 24....Rxf4! is a clever idea.

Unfortunately for white, 28.Nd1 fails to 28....Bd4.

White's light-squared bishop is a complete non-entity in this game. Uhlmann's loss probably cost him the opportunity to qualify for the Candidates tournament.
