Virgilio Jacobus: 81.Qa5+ simply picks up the rook. Either there was a time scramble or an error in the recorded moves at that point I guess.
Sep-21-09   WhiteRook48: it was probably a time scramble
Sep-21-09   OBIT: Also, I don't need a tablebase to see that White picks off the rook after 99. Qd2+ Kh1 100. Qc1+ Kh2 (100...Rg1? 101. Qh6#) 101. Qc2+ Kg1 102. Qb1+ Kh2 103. Qh7+.

White sure cut this close - two more moves, and Black draws by the 50 move rule.
