patzer2: This game shows a good strategy for beating the Sicilian Mora gambit (1. e4 c5 2. d4 cxd4 3. c3), which is to take the gambit pawn (3...dxc3) and then keep forcing small exchanges until Black has an endgame win.

Notice in the opening how Black plays 5...d6 and 6...a6, patiently waiting to play 8...Bg4 (pinning the Knight after 8. Qe2). This development facilitates the later exchange of Bishop for Knight and Queen for Queen, helping Black to secure a small middle game plus which he squeezes for an endgame win.
