Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-23-05  schnarre: What's with 12. h3 here? Black has an excellent position, but this hastened White's demise; 12. Be2, though not fabulous, lets White hold out a bit more; 12. Ne2 drops the e-pawn, but gives White some options with a later Rg1 &/or Ng3. I still prefer Black in any case!
Oct-09-08  GannonKnight: A lot of White's troubles started with 5. f3. I'm playing a correspondence opponent who just played that move in the Caro-Kann and after seeing this, I'm lickin' my chops.

And Black needs to understand that resigning is okay. Did he think that he actually had a shot?

Oct-09-08  sleepyirv: <GannonKnight> This appears to be the way A. Xidas plays chess. He has five games in this database: all losses, all mates.
May-25-10  YoungEd: I agree with <GannonKnight> that 5. f3 was the real stinker, but 6. g4 was bad, too. As Black, I'd have played 6...♕h4+ to embarrass the ♔ a bit before retreating the ♗.

Maybe White likes to maximise his number of moves in each tournament to get value for money?
