Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-12-05  MidnightDuffer: Barron pulled this Gibbins-Weidenhagen Gambit 2. g4 2 other times at this Ron Banwell Masters Tournament; it looks like it has possibilities and would certainly surprise an opponent.

One might wonder if Black, Gardner has a mate around move 26. to moves 35. as the King goes all the way from his first to the 8th rank in this span of time and a series of checks on each move against White.

Jul-03-05  John Crenshaw: Great opening; as it is not for players with weak stomachs. = )
Jul-06-06  mistergore: jepp
Jan-04-07  mihai: When white reaches f8 with his king, can he queen it? :)
