refutor: wow! big time blunder for karpov, even under blindfold conditions...
Jul-03-07  sanyas: Always carefully examine your opponent's last move - even if, as here, you can't actually see the move...
Jul-03-07  sanyas: Of course, 19...gxf6 (19...Rxf6) and 20...Rfe8 (20...Rf7) were what ruined things for Black. After 21. Rg1, 21...Kf7 loses to 22.Bxc6 bxc6 23.Rg7+ Kf8 24.Ke2 Rd2+ 25.Kf3, and 21...Kh8 to 22.Bg7+ Kg8 (22...Kxg7 23.Bxc6+ picks up an exchange as well) 23.Bf3.

sallom89: lol who is Zoltan that made a mess of Karpov.
Nov-09-07  Troller: Zoltan Almasi was once the #1 junior in the world, current #3 Hungarian player I guess, he's pretty strong.

Anyway, this is blindfold rapid play, pure show.
