Grabill and Donald Henry MUGRIDGE, the Washington D.C Champion, Washington Star chess columnist, Harvard Chess Club star, and one of the strongest players in the US in his time. The game is an old XIXth Century trap, seen already quite a few times Games Like Grabill vs D H Mufridge, 1932

and from time to time it appears again over some board, a recent example being Velez vs Caro, Medellin (Colombia) 2009 <!!> - - - perhaps a chessical poltergeist, or dybbuk !?
