Unfortunately Lasker's notes give out several moves before. Someone said Lasker's annotations in the tournament book had no mistakes; keeping the notes to the bare minimum definitely contributed.

Oct-04-08  YoungEd: 17. Re1 is the losing move; if White retakes on f3 with the pawn, he loses the queen anyway or gets mated after Qxd1 (threat of Bxf3#). Exciting game, though!
