  nasmichael: The pawn position after 17...Rd8 is intriguing. It speaks to the endless variety of the games.

  Shams: 11.Bxc3? is ugly...the resulting 1-2-1 pawn structure is very dynamic and flexible for white, even if detached from the e-pawn. not to mention leaving white's good bishop to dominate the knight.
