Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-21-03  popski: Huh, whites 8.Qd5 is a killer move in every case.
Feb-20-04  rochade18: well, black has to play d5 instead of Nc6 otherwise the white queen can easily mate as you point out.

whiteshark: This is the copy of <Imbusch vs Göring, Munich 1899>
Sep-17-09  antharis: 5...Nc6 isnt the point. 6...Kg8?? is the real mistake. After simply playing 6...Ke8, the position is about equal.
Mar-06-11  chesschampion11: what if 7...♕e7 ?

  Sastre: If 7...Qe7 8.Qd5+ wins.

FSR: Shades of Jowett vs McDonald, 1885.

FSR: 5...d5! was correct, as <rochade> pointed out. In that case, White just has a terrible game, since Black has the center and the bishop pair for no compensation. As Opening Explorer indicates, Black gets a massive plus score after that move.
