The second sac 22. ♘xe6 is also unsound. The refutation of that is 22. .. ♘xf3+!, allowing the Black Queen back to defend the King, for example: 22. .. ♘xf3+ 23. gxf3 fxe6 24. ♗c5 ♕g6+ 25. ♔h1 ♕f7.

But in the game, Black got too greedy and took the material.
