  xombie: Ha! Dvoretsky here. Some very Petrosianesque prevention early on in the game. I particularly like Qe1!

  xombie: Yes, needed considerable insight to know that g3 was going to become weak and he needed to protect it by playing Qe1. But it is interesting that it all fits together so well ... Rd3 and the skewering tactic Bc1. Truly excellent.

  xombie: Yet it is all so very logical. In these and similar positions, the side that opens the f file often gets good play. I've seen it from the white side of the Dutch when black can open the f file by playing f5-f4, hammering g3. But apparently, it cuts both ways, although it does indeed appear that using the g pawn to do the same thing is rather unusual (or is it?).
