Sneaky: The kid can play chess!!!
Oct-16-05  Poisonpawns: Great attack by Ruslan. The final position is the definititon of a Dark Square weakness.
Oct-16-05  aw1988: This was really bad defense on Gligoric's part...
Sep-02-06  ToTheDeath: Agreed aw1988. Gligoric was unrecognizable in this game.

11. Rfc1 is just begging for an attack on f2.

Jan-13-08  Poisonpawns: "ToTheDeath" "Gligoric was unrecognizable" lol True but Ruslan made him look that way in this game. :-)
Jan-13-08  RookFile: Well, I wish I had seen this game when I was talking in the Timmerman game about how black attacks f2 a lot.

Not sure what the point was in trotting out a 75 year old Gligoric to get slapped around....

I saw Gligoric play in Stockholm 2004. He must have been over 80 by then. He didn't do too badly in the tournament, even though he was crushed by Tomi Nybäck in a beautiful game that I watched live. (Gligoric vs T Nyback, 2004)
