Apr-04-07   Gantreel: 3. ...Bb4+ looks very amateurish. 4. c3 wins a tempo, followed by Bd3, f4 etc, and is better than letting black off the hook by transposing to the Winawer.

  whiteshark: My guess is that this was a (2 round match after two draws) rapid game of 25 mins and 3...Bb4+ was simply a surprise weapon.
