|Nov-23-03|| ||AdrianP: This is a nice game... interesting opening 6. Nd2!? and some very nice tactics... e.g. Rf6!! |
|Jan-06-04|| ||DeepGlue: Hmm, well... there seems to be some improvements possible for black. Notably 10...Nc6, as the knight got very passive after the gamemove 10...Nbd7.
The thing I wonder about now is, whether or not 14...Qd7 would be an improvement to 14...Kd8? Not so much because there is anything wrong with castling by hand, but because black is under pressure, and surely has an interest in swapping queens? |
|Nov-01-04|| ||themindset: 29.Rf6+!! what a beautiful tactic! |
|Nov-01-04|| ||themindset: i don't understand why not 30.Rxf7
that seems to end things right there, rather than the pull back to Rf3, which is also still winning, but in a much longer fashion.
|Nov-01-04|| ||Shams: 30. Rxf7 Raf8 and black takes over the f-file...white`s king does not look so secure that he can get away with this. |
one patzer`s guess at any rate
|Nov-01-04|| ||Whitehat1963: Agree that 29. Rf6+ is a good move. But it must not be too subtle because I saw it pretty quickly (5 to 10 seconds or so), and I couldn't solve today's puzzle. |
|Jan-26-06|| ||The17thPawn: Is 29...Qxf6 30.Bg3+, Qe5 31.Bxe5, Kxe5 dead lost for black? Material is very close to even depending on how much one cherishes the queen. What's more I can't find a convincing invasion point for whites queen after this sequence. Come on fellow chess enthusiasts help a patzer out!|
|Jan-26-06|| ||GreenDayGuy: <The17thPawn> After that sequence, what about Qd7, winning a piece?|
|Feb-03-06|| ||The17thPawn: <GreenDayGuy> Yep missed that entirely thanks for providing a net in my patzer act. Hope to hear from you again. Thanks for the feedback!|
|Oct-28-10|| ||sevenseaman: ...29. Ke5? If ... 29. QxR, 30. Bg3# Immediacy compels the K to move.|
