Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-18-06  McCool: Can't black get out of this only a pawn down, and without a castle opportunity?
May-01-06  syracrophy: I don't see any immediate win for White. Black's not so bad, there can be equal chances for white as for black, even with a pawn down for black.

10...Ke7 (Obviously not 10...Kxf7?? 11.Qxd8) 11.Qxd8+ Kxd8 and Black can still put a tough fight

Apr-19-07  Autoreparaturwerkbau: This game is in many collections named "traps". Where is the trap, since 1 pawn up isn't a lost game on the spot?
Apr-19-07  Seraphina: Yes Black could plug away at it.... but probably got depressed. Ke7, 11. qxd8 Kxd8, 12. Bg5 Be7 13. 0-0-0+ followed by Re1 Black is a pawn down with one isolated pawn and his position is tied up in knots. Not really a fun game..... White could also bring the B back to d5 on move 11 perhaps.... Resigning was, I believe, just fine. Milev surely knew that CHO'D Alexander was not a patzer...
