Nov-22-02  Bears092: I almost fell for this trap in my match today. I played 7... Bd7 instead, but I still went on to lose.

Sneaky: Was this chess author Bill Wall, making a new entry for his famous miniature series?
May-04-05  schnarre: <Sneaky> I wouldn't be surprised, but this still is a worthwhile miniature to puruse!
Jan-02-06  DeepBlade: This is the prototype example to learn how devastating an discovered attack can be.
Jan-13-06  schnarre: Oh yeah!!!
Sep-04-09  kooley782: Wow, i need to keep that trap in mind when my opponent's play the French against me!
Jul-19-11  JoergWalter: There is an even more brilliant variaton - see Wall vs Claus.
Sep-19-11  Robert Hill: I saw this done in a tournament back in August in the 1400-1699 rated.

Infohunter: Someone tried to spring this on me back in 1983. Unfortunately for him, I had already run across this in my studies and played 7...Bd7 instead of 7...Nxd4.
