Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-05-05   Theoryhack: With both sides losing tempi (N-f6-d5-f6, B-c4-b5) I wouldnt be suprised if this transposed into other minatures a move down. This trap is very common in scandinavian minatures, one way or another.

  Domdaniel: I fell for it once in the Nimzowitsch Defence: 1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 dxe4 4.d5 Ne5 5.f3 exf3 6.Nxf3 Bg4?? and you can guess the rest...

Domdaniel: I haven't seen it in any database, but I later found it in a book. As something to avoid, naturally.

If I'm not mistaken 13. Nxd1 is possible.

Dec-23-08   patzer of patzers: What does this have to do with salivation?
Feb-07-09   Justawoodpusher: <patzer of patzers> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pavlov...
Feb-17-09   patzer of patzers: <Justawoodpusher> Ah. Thank you.

...But now I can't find out why I even cared in the first place! Did this used to be GOTD, and the pun a saliva-related one?

Feb-17-09   swarmoflocusts: Shameful! A player named Dragos not playing the Dragon? If I was named Scandanavios...
Feb-17-09   patzer of patzers: Oh, whoops, it was from the Present Hunt, wasn't it? Sorry.
