  Karpova: An intersting idea:

What if White gives away the extra pawn for development: 14.Be3 Qxb2 15.Rc1 Qb4+ 16.Bd2 Qb6 (<16...Qa4 17.Bc4>) 17.Be2 for example and now White id fully developped with active pieces while black remains passive and with a shattered pawn structure.

This was still possible at move 15:
15.Be3 Bc8 (<15...Qb4+ 16.Kf1 Qxb2 17.Rd1! Rd8 18.Rxd8>) 16.Bxb6 Bxe6 17.Bxe6 axb6
