Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-09-04  draganion: total blunder 7...Nxf2?? should have played 7...Qh4
Dec-24-06  Kruglov: b4# is threatening.
Best option for Black seems to be 12...Nxc3 13.Bxd8 Nxd5 and Black has two pawns for a piece, has King in the center, and is underdeveloped.
Aug-01-09  rodantero: I think 13.Be3+ it's also interesting. It could continue with 13...Kb4 14.bxc3+ (or maybe 0-0?) Ka4 15.0-0 b5 16.Bh5! bxc4 17.Nxc4 Qh4 18.Bd1+ Kb5 19.Be2 Qxc4 20.Rab1 Ka5 21.Bxc4 Ba6 22.Bxa6 Rf4
Jul-03-10  eightbyeight: Actually, 12. Nba3 is a mistake which allows Black to escape with two pawns for the piece. rodantero's line 12. ... Nxc3 13. Be3+ actually loses for White after 13. ... Kb4 14. bxc3+ Ka4 (Kxc3 works just as well) and now there is no immediate mate, and any quiet move allows 15. ... Bxa3!, when the mating net crumbles. The straightforward 12. Bxd8 Kxc4 13. Kxd1 is much better for White.
Jun-03-19  sea7kenp: I love this to death! 12 ... Qxg5 is answered by 13 b4#!
