Jun-28-04  patzer2: Voorema's 8. Nxf7!! is listed as number 1669 in Chess Informant's "Encyclopedia of Middle Games/Combinations" as an example of the tactical theme "Demolition of Pawn Structure" via "Sacrifice at f7 (f2)."

In this case the sacrifice 8. Nxf7!! also appears to also be an opening trap, leading to Black's resignation after only 11 moves.
