Jun-17-04		patzer2: The mora gambit can be accepted, but this game illustrates that Black needs to understand a little opening theory in order to survive. Here Black punishes the innocuous looking 7...g6?! in the mora sicilian gambit with 8. e5! The finish in the final position is 12. Bxe6 Bxe6 13. Nc7+ Kd1 14. Nxe6 fxe6 15. Nf7+ .

Nov-30-04		Lipsome: Rd1 looks stronger then Nxe5 as was played in the game. I think correct after Nxe5 is Bg7 (not Ne6??)and black is surviving

White did not properly exploit it, either. White should have played 7.e5!, when 7...Ng4 is considered the best response. After the lackluster 7.0-0, Black should have played 7...a6 rather than 7...g6?
