  TheAlchemist: 8...Ke7? Why?
Nov-27-05  Chopin: After moving Ke7, black was simply looking for trouble.

Phony Benoni: Before 8...Kxe7, Black already had trouble. If 8...Qxe7 9.Qa4+ wins the bishop.
Apr-16-07  BadTemper: ugly opening. yuck
Apr-24-13  TheTamale: Good point by <Phony Benoni>. Isn't 7) ... Ne7 the real dog here? I can't see any point to it, and it leads to disaster. Why not just castle?

Phony Benoni: <TheTamale> <7...0-0> didn't work out so well in Nimzowitsch vs Salwe, 1912, but Black also blundered early there. Perhaps the real point is that these Various Number of Knights Openings, while not scary in theory, have a lot of traps for the unwary.
