tpstar: So 12. f4?! turned out badly and 16. Nc4?? turned out very badly (17. N4e3 c4). Any improvements for White? I'm asking because after 23. gxh3 Qxh3 White could escape with 24. Bxh7+! Kxh7/Qxh7 25. Qh2 except for being a piece down already.
Apr-14-04  TrueFiendish: Hang on, can't white escape anyway with 24.Ng2 or something?

  tpstar: <TrueFiendish>: After 23. gxh3 Qxh3 24. Ng2 g4 threatens 25 ... g3 & 26 ... Qh2+ mating, so now 25. Bxh7+! Kxh7/Qxh7 26. Qh4(+) works instead. But both lines get Queens off into a won endgame for Black, thus White Resigns.
Apr-20-04  TrueFiendish: tpstar: right you are. Thanks for that.
