| Dec-24-07 | | Ruy Lopez: Even by move 20, black is a knight to a pawn and 2 bishops (the bishop on a7 is useless) and has an incredibly cramped position. And after Qd2, black threatens Bxh6 black's kingside would be torn apart. |

| Jan-16-08 | | newzild: A really, really bad game by Sting. Blunder after blunder. I doubt if he's even a 1200 player. Some of the comments below "Kasparov would lose a sing-off just as easily" are beside the point. Kasparov doesn't have a reputation as a singer. Sting, for some reason, is a well-known chess enthusiast. Over the years he's carefully cultivated a reputation as something of an intellectual. Clearly, this doesn't extend to his chess-playing ability. |

| Jun-05-08 | | hitman84: This game had a Sting in the tail. |
| Jun-05-08 | | GeauxCool: 45 moves, awesome! Kasparov took just 22 moves to destroy John Nunn: Kasparov vs Nunn, 1982 So Sting is twice as good as None.

| Jul-26-08 | | aazqua: Sting didn't hold off Kasparov; Kasparov batted him around in his paws for a while and lost interest. I'm sure Kasparov wanted to keep him around for a little while since it was the "Sting" simul. >>>Despite the inevitable loss, it is impressive to hold out for 45 moves against a player of such calibre. |
| Aug-24-08 | | Augalv: Well played by the lead singer of The Police |

| Oct-02-08 | | ughaibu: I dont know, Kasparov looks a bit of a crooner. If all politicians satisfied their desire for attention by singing. . . . . |
| Oct-19-08 | | GeauxCool: Sting missed the brilliant 41...d3+ |

| Jan-01-09 | | cracknik: I know kasparov played chess for a living and sting sings songs for a living but with sting being a self admitted avid chess player, I think his play was atrocious. |
