Mar-31-05  Chess Champ: Whats wrong with you people, this guy was Alabama's champ and nobody remembers him, died of brain tumor, I have few more games from this dude.
That kind of reminds me...
Why the heck is NBA accepting so many Yugos to play like Darko Milicic, the only time Darko plays is garbage time, nothing else, why not stay in their respective countries (whatever they call themselves now) and play there for few years, like Divac did!?>

Mar-31-05  Milo: Darko is a "human victory cigar" as someone put it. And the Pistons could have gotten 'Mello or Wade or Heinrich...

I think the idea in going abroad with slightly lower picks is that--given a choice between an American player you KNOW is mediocre and a foreign player who might be the next Nowitzky--people would rather take a risk. That's certainly worked well for San Antonio.
