Apr-03-04   ArturoRivera: i Think that the sacrifice of the queen wasnt necessary, i think that capturing the rook gave white an open file (wich was not necessary to give beacause it diint led to mate after all)
May-15-05   woodenbishop: 33. ...Bxb3?? I highly respect Adams as a grandmaster (as I do Korchnoi) but this move gave white the winning edge.

Caissanist: Adams was probably in bad time pressure here--33..Bxb3 looks much more like a blunder than a sac (rule of thumb: if I can see what's wrong with it, it's a blunder). When someone waits until move 41 to resign a clearly lost game, it's a pretty good guess that there was a nasty time scramble.
