Sep-13-04   Eatman: Nice game by Edvins. White seemed to be in game for a while but white's tactics didn't pan out as Kengis saw further. Incidentally, I got owned by him in similar style recently in Riga-2004 (which Kengis won).

  kevin86: A strange position at move 36:white could't avoid the exchange of rooks at the pain of checkmate. The two moves that could avoid it would be Kg1 or R8c2--- which of course would allow (ha ha) the exchange of rooks anyway.
