  paulalbert: I think Qe3+ probably forces White to accept a perpetual check. Trying to run with the K might even lead to lines that lose for White and at least if the K goes to d1, then Qxd4+ forces exchange of Qs leaving White with nothing as far as I can see. I'm not strong enough to work all the lines out precisely and I don't have a chess engine, but White will not get the chance to carry out his dangerous mate threats with Nxg6+. Paul Albert
