chessgames.com: <is there any way i can scroll the moves back?> A few minutes after the game is over, this page will revert to a normal game page where you can go through the moves one by one. If you visit the X3D site, they have a java board that allows you to review the game. http://www.x3dchess.com/
Nov-11-03  pshuk: alfonso... fritz is one pawn up but kasparov has 2 rooks and fritz has 1 rook and 1 bishop. and see whose rook is not in the game. and also who is on the center. Kasparov queen is more open and free then fritz's queen. and Rb8 is not a mate threat anyway.
Nov-11-03  Alfonso Geraci: Better pawns, center control, mate threats: this should more then compensate for the exchange
Nov-11-03  pshuk: <mkdir> but how will u exchange the queen.
Nov-11-03  clifford: Kb1 is looking neccessary here
Nov-11-03  pshuk: alfonso. where is mate threat. let garry make his move then we'' see. better pawns. I dont see much of the advantage here. both are isolated so not in very good position. so after calculation white is still up
Nov-11-03  kenhen810: how about Rd1 followed by Rd4
Nov-11-03  fred lennox: b3 is for ...Rb8 I should be more clear.
Nov-11-03  khot78: pshuk, actually Black's queen is better placed than white's. one push of the black rook and there will be serious problems for white. BTW, the GM commentators are calling this position even
Nov-11-03  pshuk: cliiford thats blunder. Kb1. will cost u Queen. do u see that?
Nov-11-03  pogo5: Kb1? Bxa2+
Nov-11-03  hickchess99: why not Qd4?
Nov-11-03  clifford: yeah, i missed the bishop check, my bad
Nov-11-03  pshuk: yhanks khot. that might be the right point. anyways what about Rf1. I am still in favour of that
Nov-11-03  zorro: <pogo5> good point!
Nov-11-03  fred lennox: That would give black a strong passed pawn.
Nov-11-03  Alfonso Geraci: how much time are they allowed?
Nov-11-03  pshuk: hick I dont like Qd4. why not play Rook. Qd4 Qxd4.. eXd4. Bxa2. and black is 2 pawn up. white will be in serious trouble.

lostemperor: Conspiracy theories. I don't think so this time. Afterall he is only playing 4 games. Someone know how much money Kasparov is getting for this 4 games?
Nov-11-03  pshuk: here goes our fev. move. Rf1
Nov-11-03  khot78: pshuk: you called it! should be interesting to see if black will defend with rf8....?
