Feb-14-04  morphyvsfischer: Did Bogo really play THIS?
Feb-17-04  Gurch: He really ought to have stopped somewhere around move 34.
Feb-17-04  Resignation Trap: Bogo could have stopped this game and his loss by claiming a draw at move 39.
Nov-22-04  TheGreatNN: Actually the game was drawn at move 38. How do people not notice these things?

Gregor Samsa Mendel: "When I am black I lose because I am black. When I am white I lose because I am Bogoljubov."
Sep-13-05  ChiefNX: 28.Bg1 can't be right, it exposes the king completely. Maybe Bogo thought he had a winning attack...
Sep-13-05  lentil: i've seen several 'older' games (one by marshall comes to mind) where the 3x repetition rule was overlooked. is this a recent addition to the rules?

ketchuplover: Not a new rule. Just a brainfart by Bogo.
Jan-14-08  t3hPolak: This...is Bogoljubov?
Kudos to him for playing something weird for kicks, I guess.

al wazir: The draw after three repetitions isn't automatic. One or both players must claim it. Look it up: http://www.fide.com/component/handb... , article 9.2.

whiteshark: Der 3.

Anton Schuppler antwortete:"<h4>".
