Nov-23-04  Poisonpawns: Nice game! If you play the dutch as black you should know how to play against this system! Also <Korchnoi vs Lombardy> follows the same line.
Jan-25-22  jerseybob: I like the way black gets the maximum peskiness out of his knights and even trading off a pair doesn't end white's troubles. 25...g5! collapses the white center.

plang: One of the things I find interesting about the Dutch Defense how many opportunities there are to be creative early in the game. The system used in this game with f3 and e4 has been played only a few times though it seems like a perfectly reasonable system. 9..e6 had been played in Hjartarson-Kristjansson Akureyri 1994 where White went on to win; 9..Na6 was new. 25 h4 was suggested keeping Black's bishop contained. 30 g6?..h5! continued to turn things in Black's favor; better was 30 Re1+ or 30 Rh3. After 35 g4? White was losing; 35 Nd2 would have been a tougher defense.
