| Mar-01-04 | | TrueFiendish: Go, patzer punters! 25.Rd8!--the saving resource. I wonder if black saw it or thought he was winning... |

 | | kevin86: Black threatened 25... xa1 26 xa1 e1 forcing mate;the brilliant pin 25 d8 saves the game. It is a virtual dead draw after the exchanges |
| Mar-01-04 | | mack: I was involved in this game as a "patzer punter", got to say it wasn't the most exciting Marshall Attack game ever. |
| Mar-01-04 | | InspiredByMorphy: Admirable attacking bravery by black. The sacrifice of the bishop on move 18.f4?! is compensated 7 moves later, but I question its soundness. I will look into this more later. |
| Nov-18-04 | | TheTurk: seems inspiredbymorphy has been looking into this one for over 8 months now. i hope he came up with something interesting... |

| Nov-19-04 | | aw1988: LOL, good timing. |

| Feb-17-06 | | vizir: today it is very easy to draw THE WORLD :-)

the line 15. Qe2 is considerer as draw) |

| Jan-09-08 | | D.Observer: Who offered a draw? |
| Jul-26-08 | | offtherook: I think 21 <Qxh3>, aiming to transpose into the regular boring theory where this is an easy draw, might have been safer/easier for white. |
| Jul-26-08 | | Bobsterman3000: I remember this game. It was The World that offered the draw. 25. Rd8!! was a good move, but I would expect it to be found easily amongst the hundreds of engine users involved in this game... |
| Jul-26-08 | | offtherook: Well, from what I've read, <16 Qe2> has been regarded as a forced draw since about 2002, so it seems the World chose at that point to draw the game. |
| Jan-21-09 | | WhiteRook48: the whole World can only draw against this person. |

| Apr-06-11 | | Helloween: 23.h3~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
Apr-06-11
 | | Check It Out: 23.h3 seems to lead to a draw as well. What's your point, <helloween>? |
| Apr-06-11 | | Helloween: I remember following the updates on this game on chessbase back in 2004 and I suggested 23.h3, because I did not see 25.Rd8! in the main continuation. I believed at the time there were nice complications arising from 23.h3 fxg3!?, although I don't have a program to check the tactical validity of that now. |
