  tpstar: This Veresov Variation with 10. g4 works well against the English Dragon where ... a6 amounts to a tempo loss. Note 14. cxb3 instead of 14. axb3 being safer for White's Queenside. Interesting tactics here winning the Rooks, but White saved the Na8 with a mate threat (28. Qe8#). At the finish 30 ... Kh8 31. Qf7 is decisive.
