GrahamClayton: Excellent queen sacrifice by Klompus with 11...♘xd5 - his active pieces totally overrun the White Q-side, and white returning the sacrifice is not enough to save the game.
May-22-16  Delboy: Magnificent find, GrahamClayton. Exploring some of the possibilities, I guess that black intended answering 21. Nxe6 with 21. ... Rxb3+ and if 22. Ka2 then probably 22. ... Rfb8, with many threats. Upon 22. Kc2 might follow 23. ... Rb2+ 23. Kd3 fxe6 with the second rook soon joining the fray.

perfidious: Are either of you familiar with M Bobotsov vs Tal, 1958, the original game in this line?
May-22-16  Delboy: As a great Tal fan I should have been! In fact, chances are I have played through that game before. Thanks for pointing it out.
May-22-16  Benzol: Back in 2002 <drukenknight> pointed out this game Zamikhovsky vs Nezhmetdinov, 1956

Have a look at it as well.

May-22-16  Benzol: Check out J Nielsen vs Larsen, 1965 and R K N Lanning vs P S Spiller, 1976 too.
